New Quiz

As you know, NKG is in the process of establishing three regional offices to bring decision-making closer to our markets:

  • Americas – Led by Nicolas Rueda Latiff, based in the U.S.
  • Asia Pacific – Led by Ruben Scholz, based in Singapore
  • EMEA – Temporarily overseen by David M. Neumann, based in Hamburg

So, it’s high time to familiarize yourself with the three regions and put your coffee knowledge to the test. What better way to do this than with a little quiz! 🤩

We will ask you two multiple-choice questions about each region. All of the questions will be about coffee. As always, everyone takes part in the competition, so don’t be sad if you miss an answer!

And by the way: There is, of course, something to be won again this time. We are giving away a Weird Coffee Person – Joy Print among all participants (A2 Portrait). With the playful and colorful design by Canadian independent illustrator and designer Sebastian Abboud you can brighten up your office, a common room at work, or even your home and show everyone your passion for coffee! Have fun solving the puzzle and good luck in the competition!

Changes for a strong future: Aligning our strategic approach, organizational structure and cultural transformation

In the past years, we have seen a lot of changes in the world around us, not just directly in coffee – and that has changed the challenges and contents of our work. While before, the tone at NKG has been to go ahead and keep on doing what we do in the best way we can – and grow from year to year -, we now see ourselves confronted with a much more complex reality: doing a great job buying, milling and selling and moving coffee is not enough anymore. At NKG, we have already worked on this intensively and adapted to these fast-paced times in many ways. But still: We need to further integrate the context and changes we experience in our strategic as well as very practical approach, reflect upon it in our organizational structure, the people leading the way and the culture we live at NKG. This is key to make sure that we will continue to be the successful number one in the world’s coffee trade in the future.
