En el pasado, el Departamento de Treasury era bastante transaccional y centrado en Hamburgo; hoy en d\u00eda, es mucho m\u00e1s estrat\u00e9gico y act\u00faa como socio y proveedor de servicios dentro de NKG a nivel global. La mayor cooperaci\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n con otros departamentos y actividades conllevan una funci\u00f3n financiera m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida en t\u00e9rminos generales, tambi\u00e9n como consecuencia de la confianza mutua, resalta Heiko Steppack, Head of Group Treasury. \u00abNuestro objetivo general es facilitar un mejor alineamiento entre las funciones financieras de NKG, tanto en Hamburgo como entre los departamentos de Treasury alrededor del mundo,\u00bb explica. \u00abAdem\u00e1s, queremos garantizar la transferencia de conocimientos tanto hacia como dentro del grupo y asegurarnos de que los bancos y los inversores tengan acceso a la informaci\u00f3n que necesiten. En resumen, esto deber\u00eda garantizar la estabilidad financiera del grupo.\u201d<\/p><p>Treasury es el lugar id\u00f3neo para cualquier tema relacionado con tesorer\u00eda o finanzas corporativas: temas bancarios o de gesti\u00f3n de tesorer\u00eda, preguntas sobre nuestro entorno inform\u00e1tico de tesorer\u00eda, as\u00ed como preguntas sobre gesti\u00f3n de riesgos en divisas, intereses o fraude de pagos.<\/p><p>Pero se trata de m\u00e1s que simplemente n\u00fameros. \u00abLa funci\u00f3n de Treasury es muy vers\u00e1til. Los temas que tratamos cambian y evolucionan constantemente. Despu\u00e9s de mudarme a Alemania en 1993, trabaj\u00e9 para un banco holand\u00e9s de materias primas en su sede de Hamburgo (en la oficina administrativa de cr\u00e9ditos para materias primas). En 1997 comenc\u00e9 a trabajar para un tostador en Hamburgo y fui responsable de la log\u00edstica (Brasil, Colombia) donde aprend\u00ed mucho acerca del negocio del caf\u00e9. Luego trabaj\u00e9 en la oficina de Hamburgo de un banco regional en el departamento de financiamiento comercial de materias primas \u2013 m\u00e1s espec\u00edficamente como agente de control de la base crediticia de Neumann Gruppe.
